Glyde-Ins

Glyde-Ins choir is now in its 21st year under the leadership of our esteem director, Digby Hill. Digby arranges our repertoire in 4-part harmonies and challenges us with songs in different languages and a variety of genres. GIs gather at Sullivan Hall, White Gum Valley, every Tuesday afternoon, where our spirits are lifted with the joy of singing together. GIs return to Busselton Songfest for our 4th year. In May, we performed at Guildford Medieval Fayre and we were co-hosts of the Fremantle Songfest in April.

The Real Sing

TRS is a friendly bunch of a cappella singers with a repertoire of popular music spanning the 1950s through to current day. The choir performs many original arrangements of popular songs scored by our wonderfully talented musical director, Coralie Kan. in 2025 TRS will be having a year long celebration of 30 years as a community choir.

Radujsja

Radujsja (Rejoice!) is a 5-voice a cappella ensemble specialising in Eastern European folk music.  Over a decade, Radujsja has explored polyphonic singing, some of which pre-dates written records, from across the regions many cultures and landscapes.  They have gathered works that span across Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia.  Listeners will thrill to the dissonance and asymmetric rhythms, at first strange to the ear, of the fascinating vocal styles offered by this group.

Peppermint

Peppermint is a fresh cool choir With many songs to delight and inspire Peppermint sings in SATB Sometimes with 6 or more harmonies The Peppermint repertoire has great variation With songs from all genres, eras and nations We rehearse in Manning on Tuesday eve And we’ve always got a new surprise up our sleeve Now, here’s a sing out to all gals and fellas Peppermint’s for you, if you love acapella!

Men of the West

The Men of the West…men of a “certain age” entertaining you with funny, uplifting and moving songs, and drawing on the wonderful songs of Stephen Taberner.

She Shants

She Shants are slightly subversive, sometimes sweet and draw repertoire from traditional and original songs of waiting, loss, adventure and a fascination of sea creatures. We rarely sing sea shanties!

Close Harmony

We are Close Harmony, a community choir established in 2006. We deliver a haunting and harmonious four-part sound. Under the Musical Directorship of Jordan Dunne, our A Capella repertoire is an eclectic mix of contemporary, global, romantic, intimate, spirited and upbeat, the elegantly simple or whimsical, or the challenge of more demanding pieces. It’s a mixed choir, men and women, young and old, novice to experienced. We revel in the joy of singing, having fun within the friendship of others who share the love of music and harmony and the unbridled energy that music brings to us individually and collectively. We welcome new members who love to sing believing that everyone can add to our sound. Our atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Rossmoyne Community Choir

The Ladies of Rossmoyne Community Singers are pleased to be returning to Dusborogh for SongFest. This year we are presenting a very eclectic repertoire from Jazz, music theatre, contemporary and even a little folk music! SongFest is a great lead up into our annual concert which is always held at the end of November. Our very talented musical duo Harry Oliff (MD) and Jackson Griggs (Accompanist) will keep you entertained and us in tune!

Strike A Chord

We are ensemble of ladies who love to sing and have fun doing it! Originally formed some 15 plus years ago from within the bosom of The Rossmoyne Community Singers. Strike a Chord has blossomed and flourished under the direction of our highly accomplished musical director Harry Oliff and accompanist Jackson Griggs. The group have enjoyed singing at a number of events, including weddings and concerts, supporting Christine Anu for her Aretha Franklin Tribute Tour. We look forward to seeing many of our choir friends at the Dunsborough SongFest.

Psallite

Psallite (Sal-Li-Tay) is a four part a capella vocal group specialising* in music from the 12th century to the 21st century and beyond**. Our repertoire is drawn*** from English Street broadsides to tavern catches and lays, courtly madrigals of Europe and the magnificent and quite sacred**** music from several spiced ladies and a collection of their contemporaries*****. All presented with a unique twist and a codpiece full of humour (because we are indeed quite funny^ individuals). *well we think so. **we’re still writing stuff. ***loosely, if I may say. ****to some people we’re guessing. *****musicians who are now able to use, or were born holding, a mobile phone. ^ funny ha ha not funny strange.

Quorum

QUORUM Chamber Singers Quorum is a fourteen voice ensemble directed by Aishah Chadwick-Stumpf and Josh Adams. Madrigals and anthems from the sixteenth century to the present. A feature of our Dunsborough SongFest repertoire is two contrasting settings of Bogorodiste Devo by Gjeilo and Rachmaninov

D’Octa

Made Vocally

Formed locally, Made Vocally (Molly, Kylie, Catalina and Michael) sings a fresh mix of old and new favourites and brings complex harmonies with a joyful warm sound.

Kavisha Mazzella

ARIA award winner, songbird and folkloric explorer Kavisha’s original song’s lyrical ingredients include humour, poetry, social justice and the spiritual. Combine this prowess with the voice of an angel and you have the experience of a Kavisha concert. Singing in English, Italian and other languages, she will take you on an uplifting boundary riding journey of well-crafted stories and songs ringing with echoes of Celtic, Fado and Gypsy influences that will strike a resounding chord within. In 2011 she was awarded an Australia Day Honour for services to music and community.  In 2023 she was awarded a Lifetime Contribution Award by Folk Alliance Australia for championing diversity in the folk music scene.

Voicemale

This Fremantle based men’s community choir meet on Monday’s for period of quiet introspection.  But the rest of the week they are an all dancing, all singing, excitement machine.  Fixer Digby Hill leads their ceaseless exploration for rhythm, dance and noises, many of which have been previously dismissed by musicologists as unnecessary. Yet audiences from Morawa to Merredin have yelled and thrilled at the sight and sound of Voicemale in full throttle. Whether its ACDC or ELO, it’s always on high voltage when Voicemale arrive.  Stand back.

Mazeriani

Mazeriani formed in early 2025 to perform in Perth Fringeworld in the theatre show “Up Up Up Up Up”.  In the show the Georgian trio represented heaven in an otherwise mimed show. Mazeriani is Lucy Ridsdale, Bill Brennan Jones and Matthew Clements.  They hope to continue as a trio and build on their Georgian reperoire. Fremantle SongFest will be their first concert outside the theatre.
