Voicemale

Voicemale recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with a 100 seat “Supra” Georgian banquet. The men’s community choir is based in Fremantle, Perth and is directed by the unflappable Digby Hill. He also arranges a large portion of their repertoire. Voicemale have a busy performance schedule which sees them appearing in multiple festivals, concerts and community events each year. Their appearances in regional towns from Merredin to Morawa are always a big hit. Digby’s unique arrangements have Voicemale singing a huge variety of world music in many languages with songs from every continent, along with well know pop songs from the Beatles to ACDC. As a community choir, Voicemale is a radiant exhibition of the power of community singing to get people together in a fun and inclusive way.  As Bernd says, “everything is tolerated”.
