We are a 70+ member women's a cappella harmony chorus. Based in Manning, we love performing for local communities, special occasions and putting on our own musical extravaganzas. We sing a range of music from traditional barbershop harmony to barber-pop and more recent music arranged for SSAA. We love to have fun and share our passion for singing with our audience. Broken Record is a charming and dynamic group known throughout Australia for their electrifying performance style. This year, they represented Australia at the Barbershop Harmony Society international quartet contest in Denver, Colorado, and have just returned from Barbershop Harmony Australia's national quartet contest where they placed 4th nationally.

We are a SATB Non-Auditioned Community Choir. We sing all genres from Jazz, Classical and Contemporary. We are a very inclusive and social group.

Delivering sweet, smooth harmonies, this experienced group brings an engaging and dynamic groove, offering a variety of music in beautiful four-part a cappella style. For the past 5 years, Jen (Tenor), Shay (Lead), Diana (Baritone) and Helen (Bass), have been captivating audiences with their performances. They love making music together and sharing the joy of singing and performing.

Cadence, Interrupted is this ad hoc iteration of a choiry cluster of singing friends, whose aliases vastly outnumber actual gigs! We love twisty harmonies, tasty stuff (who doesn’t), and questionable puns… This Songfest, we bring a pocketful of small, beautiful, dreamy things.

CareSong Busselton is a new dementia-friendly singing group set up this year in Busselton.

Led by David Pilpel, the new group meets every Thursday afternoon at the Busselton Senior Citizens Centre.

People living with dementia come with their carers and a large group of Busselton volunteers to sing together an enjoy afternoon tea.

Champagne Notes share a love for music, a spirit of camaraderie, and cherish the undeniable joy of learning and growing together. They recently surprised themselves with a Top 10 finish (7th) at the Sweet Adelines Australia regional convention, but that’s just a fun milestone on a much bigger journey for Sofie, Yulanda, Becc and Geri. They’re all about the thrill of ringing chords, the laughter between rehearsals, and the friendships that make every note feel golden. As a relatively new quartet, Champagne Notes are thrilled to be taking part in their first ever SongFest in a quartet!

Dunsborough's own Cleanskins have been closely linked to Dunsborough SongFest since its inception in 2010.  Many of the choir members are a part of the merry volunteers who run the festival each year, including Festival Co-ordinator Judy Waterman.

Like good wines they are ageing well, showing variety and complexity and most of them with a good nose. Some are known to get a little bit corked and some are a little late harvested, however they have had a long time to breathe, have excellent balance and a sweet finish, coming together in a harmonious way, which is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Decant and enjoy now.

We are Close Harmony, a community choir established in 2006. We deliver a haunting and harmonious four-part sound. Under the Directorship of talented and vibrant Jordan Dunne, our A Capella repertoire is an eclectic mix of contemporary, global, romantic, intimate, spirited and upbeat, the elegantly simple or whimsical, or the challenge of more demanding pieces.
It's a mixed choir, men and women, young and old, novice to experienced. We revel in the joy of singing, having fun within the friendship of others who share the love of music and harmony and the unbridled energy that music brings to us individually and collectively. We welcome new members who love to sing believing that everyone can add to our sound. Our atmosphere is warm and welcoming. New and old embrace a culture of joy through music.

Combination Loch is a quartet of male singers who are also part of the mixed chorus, Vocal Mix.
Gerry, Bill, Lawrence and Mike met several years ago while singing with Vocal Evolution.
The quartet formed 2 years ago and is the current Senior Men’s Barbershop Western Region champs!

Scan the vocal groups in Western Australia and you won’t see many four-part male quartets performing folk song. Time for a new group: The Ebb Tide Men, comprising Nick Eustance bass, Peter Ormond baritone, and tenors Lionel Pearson and Rey Rombawa. From a varied repertoire grounded in Anglo-Celtic folk and embracing traditional European song with existing and new arrangements, we offer a strong, original and engaging small group sound. The Dunsborough Songfest will be The Ebb Tide Men’s first festival performances.

Glyde-Ins sing for the joy of singing and for the good spirit of our choir members. Our repertoire is broad, featuring songs in many styles and languages.
Under Digby Hill, our accomplished and supportive choir director, we have been bringing music to the community since 2004. Our repertoire is mostly arranged or adapted/ transcribed by Digby in 4-part harmonies.
This year we have welcomed many new members to our choir, and we have participated in Songfest festivals at Busselton, Merredin and Guildford.
We are delighted to be returning to Dunsborough in 2023.
We currently rehearse at Sullivan Hall in White Gum Valley, Tuesdays, 4.00pm - 6.00pm. All welcome.

A new quartet in the Perth scene, Hive Mind have a passion for fresh and engaging arrangements, and a determination not to take themselves too seriously. Having just crossed the stage in May for their first competition, Rachel, Elida, Ryan and Oliver are excited to share their mix of Barbershop and contemporary a capella music at Songfest!

The 3 members of our next act, Lyrebirds, have been singing together since 2017, when they met through Perth Harmony Chorus. Whilst currently a trio, they are looking forward to being a quartet once more in the near future. Until then, we invite you to enjoy some 3 part A Cappella with Alison, Deb and Alison. Formed locally, Made Vocally (Molly, Kylie, Catalina and Michael) sings a fresh mix of old and new favourites and brings complex harmonies with a joyful warm sound.

See the all singing and sometimes dancing Men of the West as men of a “certain age” with the occasional youngster thrown in for good measure, sing through a repertoire of originals, Georgian songs and unusual covers.
Men of the West are a dark, behatted behemoth of blokes, who first mysteriously appeared at Fairbridge Festival in 2005 and since then has materialised at the Adelaide Fringe, Denmark Festival of the Voice and various Songfests in and around Perth.
Ably led by Ryan Nicholson, the Men of the West valiantly attempt to redefine the predicament of the modern man, while attempting to scale the peaks of pointless grandeur. Their material also includes entertaining originals from the pen of Stephen Taberner.

Menagerie has been rocking the city and the suburbs since 2013. This indie choir is known for for pop-up performances, festivals and multiple sell-out Fringe seasons, but at heart Menagerie is just a herd of human animals who love to sing! With no auditions and no prior musical experience required to be part of the zoo, even singers who got kicked out of Year 4 choir leave their shady past behind and sing triumphantly in glorious harmony. Bringing quirky and captivating choral versions of hits from Björk to Ben Folds, The Mountain Goats to the Pixies, Josh Pyke to Janelle Monae, and plenty in between, Perth’s original indie-pop choir shines with passion and animal emblems. Let Menagerie ignite your love of singing!

Peppermint is an SATB choir, singing mostly a cappella in four or more parts, and sometimes with
the addition of interesting instruments played by our singers. Our repertoire includes music from a
range of genres, eras, nations and styles.
Our Musical Director is Coralie Kan, who is also an accomplished singer, composer and arranger.
Peppermint’s aspirations are to enjoy singing together, the fun and friendship of being in a choir,
and growing our choral skills as we build our eclectic and interesting repertoire.

Perth Harmony Chorus is an exciting, award-winning Chorus performing four-part a cappella harmony in the Barbershop style. Earlier this year they competed at the Austrailian Sweet Adelines Competition in Hobart where they were delighted to win. This win has given them the opportunity to represent Australia, in Columbus, Ohio at the end of 2026 at the Sweet Adelines International Global Convention. The chorus consists of 60+ women of all ages from all walks of life, who take every opportunity of performing – for functions, festivals and events and are always happy to share their love of singing with the community.

Psallite (Sal-Li-Tay) is a four part a capella vocal group specialising* in music from the 12th century to the 21st century and beyond**.
Our repertoire is drawn*** from English Street broadsides to tavern catches and lays, courtly madrigals of Europe and the magnificent and quite sacred**** music from several spiced ladies and a collection of their contemporaries*****. All presented with a unique twist and a codpiece full of humour
(because we are indeed quite funny^ individuals).

We are a sixteen-voice a cappella ensemble with a repertoire extending from the 14th to the 21st
century. It includes early Renaissance composers through to Gabriel Faure, Arvo Part and Ole Gjeilo.
Contemporary Australian composers William Barton, Perry Joyce and Joshua Adams are also some of our audience favorites. Quorum enjoys the textures and qualities of layered voices in the works we sing - whether ancient or very contemporary and the delight of sharing them.

Rhythmos Choir is an acclaimed a capella choir based out of Curtin University, comprised of a mix of students, alumni, staff, and community members. Rhythmos performs everything from choral classics to pop bangers, all using complex vocal harmony.

Rossmoyne Community Singers are a ladies choir and have ben singing since 1998! They started out as a mixed choir but by attrition became ladies only!! The only blokes allowed at their rehearsal each week are their Musical Director – the fabulous Harry Oliff and super talented accompanist Jackson Griggs!! So, unlike most choirs, they’re not looking for blokes to join them but would happily welcome any ladies who would like to come along and sing in 3 and 4 part harmony. We’re looking forward to all the fun of SongFest and hearing all the other choirs!

Tired of being the passive recipients of sailors’ longing, lust or scorn, the women in our songs are strong and certain of their place. Some songs are serious, some whimsical, others a little bit naughty! We look forward to sharing our sea songs, shanties and oddities with you.

SSB - Come and sample some sweet "vintage local produce". The ever flexible SSB have been interweaving their close harmonies for over a decade. They love to cover a variety of musical genres and artists, and have some new surprises and some old favourites.

We are an ensemble of ladies who love to sing and have fun doing it! Originally formed some 20 years ago from within the bosom of The Rossmoyne Community Singers. Strike a Chord has blossomed and flourished under the direction of their highly accomplished musical director Harry Oliff and accompanist Jackson Griggs. The group have enjoyed singing at a number of events, including weddings and concerts, supporting Christine Anu for her Aretha Franklin Tribute Tour, and for many years performing as a guest choir for the Children's Massed Choir Festival. We look forward to seeing many of our choir friends at the Dunsborough SongFest.

Sunny Side Up are a pop/folk acoustic all female group made up of Holly Anderson, percussionist and vocalist, Lexi Windsor, guitarist and vocalist and Charlotte Wood, pianist and vocalist. With their calm sound, they are sure to have you in awe with their 3-part harmonies and original music. Having recently played at The William Street Bird in Perth as part of a TAFE showcase, they are keen to bring their music to Dunsborough!

Fresh off being crowned 2023 Barbershop Harmony Australia champions, The Baden Street Singers can't wait to come back down to Dunsborough SongFest this year! A vibrant and vivacious chorus, they perform a cappella music across a diverse range of genres, from barbershop, to jazz, to original songs in ancient languages, and bring a fun, polished performance to every stage!

THE ELECTRIC BARBERCATS

Renowned vocal harmony quartet, The Electric Barbercats, perform an eclectic mix of music featuring comedy, good singing and a lot of fun. They are always a crowd favourite at music festivals and events throughout Australia, and have represented Australia at International Competition.

Comprising four experienced quartet singers, holding collectively eleven national gold medals between them (and numerous silver and bronze medals), the Barbercats have been described as “not your “usual” barbershop quartet.

Known for their off-beat comedy performances, showcasing their unique stage personality, the Electric Barbercats were formed in 2018, following a game of ‘chicken’ that got waaay out of hand.

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, they are; Ash Schofield (lead), Andrew Milner (bass), Dan Millgate (baritone), and Ian Mulholland (tenor).

The Real Sing is a friendly and dynamic a cappella choir who celebrate 30 years of singing and performing together in 2025. We perform a wide range of music, including contemporary favourites and classic hits from the 70s and 80s, arranged in 4 to 8-part harmonies. The choir is known for its original arrangements, many of which are crafted by our talented musical director, Coralie Kan.

The Station Singers is a small group of passionate and enthusiastic singers from the small Wheatbelt town of Beverley. Our singers range in age from 11 to 89, and we are all about using music to spread cheer and joy.

Vocal Mix is a mixed voice a cappella chorus which performs well known contemporary arrangements in the Barbershop and A Cappella styles, to create entertaining and engaging performances for the audience.
Under the direction of voice coach Bec Hewitt, Vocal Mix places a high value on quality singing and performance, and on helping all members to improve their singing.
We aim to provide a welcoming, fun, and high-quality a cappella singing experience. Everything we do is motivated by the love of music, fellowship and striving to achieve our personal best. Dedicated to the growth of members, we encourage collaboration, education and interaction with all singing communities and our audiences.

Vocal Mix was formed in mid 2022 to provide an opportunity for singers from the two different barbershop communities to sing together in a mixed chorus.

Voicemale recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with a 100 seat "Supra" Georgian banquet. The men’s community choir is based in Fremantle, Perth and is directed by the unflappable Digby Hill. He also arranges a large portion of their repertoire. Voicemale have a busy performance schedule which sees them appearing in multiple festivals, concerts and community events each year. Their appearances in regional towns from Merredin to Morawa are always a big hit. Digby’s unique arrangements have Voicemale singing a huge variety of world music in many languages with songs from every continent, along with well know pop songs from the Beatles to ACDC. As a community choir, Voicemale is a radiant exhibition of the power of community singing to get people together in a fun and inclusive way.  As Bernd says, "everything is tolerated".

We are a friendly group who like nothing better than to get together to sing our four part a cappella harmony. We sing contemporary songs from the 70s to modern day, including classic barbershop arrangements. We love sharing our singing with the wider community, at local events and festivals. Voiceworks is a four-part show choir that has been based in Shenton Park since 2005.

Under the guidance of our fabulously talented Musical Director, Jackson Griggs, and Show Director and accompanist, Joshua James Webb, we stage new original shows every year using songs from a range of genres including pop, rock, jazz, musical theatre, and traditional.

As a show choir, we do more than make beautiful music. We also include costume, lighting, “choralography”, humorous scripts, and audience participation to make sure that our performances are always great entertainment!
