Bird on a Wire hails from Albany on the South Coast. The mixed choir sings a varied repertoire of music in four part harmony, both a'capella and with guitar accompaniment.

Genres range through gospel, pop, world music sung with joy and energy.

Bunbury Bel Canto Singers are an eclectic group singing a broad range of genres from Jazz, Classical to Contemporary.

We have just recently come back from the Desert Heart Songfest in Kalgoorlie where it was our pleasure to perform with other wonderful choir groups.

CareSong Busselton is a new dementia-friendly singing group set up this year in Busselton.

Led by David Pilpel, the new group meets every Thursday afternoon at the Busselton Senior Citizens Centre.

People living with dementia come with their carers and a large group of Busselton volunteers to sing together an enjoy afternoon tea.

Dunsborough's own Cleanskins have been closely linked to Dunsborough SongFest since its inception in 2010.  Many of the choir members are a part of the merry volunteers who run the festival each year, including Festival Co-ordinator Judy Waterman.

Like good wines they are ageing well, showing variety and complexity and most of them with a good nose. Some are known to get a little bit corked and some are a little late harvested, however they have had a long time to breathe, have excellent balance and a sweet finish, coming together in a harmonious way, which is sure to be a crowd pleaser. We are Close Harmony, a community choir established in 2006. We deliver a haunting and harmonious four-part sound. Under the Directorship of talented and vibrant Jordan Dunne, our A Capella repertoire is an eclectic mix of contemporary, global, romantic, intimate, spirited and upbeat, the elegantly simple or whimsical, or the challenge of more demanding pieces.
It's a mixed choir, men and women, young and old, novice to experienced. We revel in the joy of singing, having fun within the friendship of others who share the love of music and harmony and the unbridled energy that music brings to us individually and collectively. We welcome new members who love to sing believing that everyone can add to our sound. Our atmosphere is warm and welcoming. New and old embrace a culture of joy through music.

Combination Loch is a quartet of male singers who are also part of the mixed chorus, Vocal Mix.
Gerry, Bill, Lawrence and Mike met several years ago while singing with Vocal Evolution.
The quartet formed 2 years ago and is the current Senior Men’s Barbershop Western Region champs!

It is so thrilling to share the stage at Dunsborough SongFest with so many talented artists . We will be performing some of our favourite songs . The show will be a blast. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Critical Catch Quartet was formed in 2025 by four members of Rhythmos Choir - Isaac Beel, Hollie Burbage, Matthew Grindrod and Toby Tompson.

Keen to challenge themselves in a quartet setting, they have enjoyed exploring repertoire across a variety of genres including music theatre, folk, pop, and rock & roll.

This year they have performed at events including Perth Fringe Festival, Barbershop Harmony Australia Western Region, and school incursions.

Recently they have been working on their own arrangements, some of which they are debuting this weekend.

A group of passionate singers lead by Dragana Jerinić, performing a range of different music from the Balkans and around the world. Singing everything from orthodox chants, classical choral arrangements to pop songs.

A new quartet in the Perth scene, Hive Mind have a passion for fresh and engaging arrangements, and a determination not to take themselves too seriously. Having just crossed the stage in May for their first competition, Rachel, Elida, Ryan and Oliver are excited to share their mix of Barbershop and contemporary a capella music at Songfest!

Indian Blue Chorus is a women's barbershop chorus from Ocean Reef, Perth, and we've been singing together since 2013. Under Music Director Adrian Gimpel, the last few years have taken us into some new territory: putting together a successful panto-style stage show incorporating four-part a cappella harmony, travelling to Hobart to compete at a national barbershop contest, and now we're back on the festival stage for the first time in a while! We're an auditioned group, but we love bringing beginners in alongside our longstanding members. We can't wait to keep growing as performers and to find more fun projects to sink our teeth into. Kalamunda Sing commenced in May 2019 to promote quality accompanied community singing in the hills. It is a non-auditioned Choir that has a varied repertoire ranging from choral, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary. (Some of which you will hear today). Today the group has grown to 52 singers which is far cry from its inaugural 10 members. This year Kalamunda Sing participated in the North of Perth Music Festival and won first prize in the Open Choir section. Kalamunda Sing is also fortunate in having their very accomplished accompanist Nicholas Williams with the group and who was awarded his Doctorate in Music last year.

Made Vocally (Molly, Kylie, Catalina and Mike) is a vocal quartet with a joyful warm sound. They love complex harmonies & fresh takes on favourite tunes.

See the all singing and sometimes dancing Men of the West as men of a “certain age” with the occasional youngster thrown in for good measure, sing through a repertoire of originals, Georgian songs and unusual covers.
Men of the West are a dark, behatted behemoth of blokes, who first mysteriously appeared at Fairbridge Festival in 2005 and since then has materialised at the Adelaide Fringe, Denmark Festival of the Voice and various Songfests in and around Perth.
Ably led by Ryan Nicholson, the Men of the West valiantly attempt to redefine the predicament of the modern man, while attempting to scale the peaks of pointless grandeur. Their material also includes entertaining originals from the pen of Stephen Taberner.

From traditional and classical to rock, pop and gospel, we love exploring all kinds of music — and we love sharing it even more.

Peppermint is an SATB choir, singing mostly a cappella in four or more parts, and sometimes with
the addition of interesting instruments played by our singers. Our repertoire includes music from a
range of genres, eras, nations and styles.
Our Musical Director is Coralie Kan, who is also an accomplished singer, composer and arranger.
Peppermint’s aspirations are to enjoy singing together, the fun and friendship of being in a choir,
and growing our choral skills as we build our eclectic and interesting repertoire.

Five seasoned voices with a penchant for post 70s pop.

We are a sixteen-voice a cappella ensemble with a repertoire extending from the 14th to the 21st
century. It includes early Renaissance composers through to Gabriel Faure, Arvo Part and Ole Gjeilo.
Contemporary Australian composers William Barton, Perry Joyce and Joshua Adams are also some of our audience favorites. Quorum enjoys the textures and qualities of layered voices in the works we sing - whether ancient or very contemporary and the delight of sharing them.

Radujsja (Rejoice!) is a 5-voice a cappella ensemble specialising in Eastern European folk music.  Over a decade, Radujsja has explored polyphonic singing, some of which pre-dates written records, from across the regions many cultures and landscapes.  They have gathered works that span across Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia.  Listeners will thrill to the dissonance and asymmetric rhythms, at first strange to the ear, of the fascinating vocal styles offered by this group.

Rhythmos Choir is an acclaimed a capella choir based out of Curtin University, comprised of a mix of students, alumni, staff, and community members. Rhythmos performs everything from choral classics to pop bangers, all using complex vocal harmony.

Riversong hails from Margaret River. A community choir who love to sing, they delight in entertaining their audience with humour and the unexpected. From traditional gospel to contemporary arrangements, and a smattering of originals, they come under the passionate musical direction of Ruth Boyd. Riversong are a quirky bunch who enjoy the camaraderie of community singing and making beautiful music.

Rossmoyne Community Singers is a non-auditioned ladies choir. The choir sings in 3 and 4 part harmony; repertoire varies from music theatre, contemporary and classic pop hits, jazz, all fully accompanied on piano. Musical Director Harry Oliff always chooses a wonderfully varied repertoire for the choir, and Jackson Griggs will keep everyone in tune as the choir’s accompanist. Both Harry and Jackson are highly accomplished musicians and singers and bring their fabulous skills to the Rossmoyne Choir each week. We hope you enjoy this year's selection of repertoire.

Soundbites are looking forward to their debut performance at a 'Songfest' We are a mixed a capella choir from Denmark that has evolved over 2 decades and have a broad repertoire ranging from Shakespeare to Philip Glass, World music, Barbershop and everything in between. We relish close harmonies and entertaining lyrics followed by a good afternoon tea!

Strike a Chord are an ensemble of 12 ladies who also sing with the Rossmoyne Community Singers. They particularly like singing Jazz arrangements and are currently working together with Libby Hammer to present a Jazz Cabaret show at the end of November.

WA’s ward-winning barbershop group, The Baden Street Singers can't wait to come back down to Dunsborough SongFest this year! A vibrant and vivacious chorus, they perform a cappella music across a diverse range of genres, from barbershop, to jazz, to original songs in ancient languages, and bring a fun, polished performance to every stage!

THE ELECTRIC BARBERCATS

Renowned vocal harmony quartet, The Electric Barbercats, perform an eclectic mix of music featuring comedy, good singing and a lot of fun. They are always a crowd favourite at music festivals and events throughout Australia, and have represented Australia at International Competition.

Comprising four experienced quartet singers, holding collectively eleven national gold medals between them (and numerous silver and bronze medals), the Barbercats have been described as “not your “usual” barbershop quartet.

Known for their off-beat comedy performances, showcasing their unique stage personality, the Electric Barbercats were formed in 2018, following a game of ‘chicken’ that got waaay out of hand.

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, they are; Ash Schofield (lead), Andrew Milner (bass), Dan Millgate (baritone), and Ian Mulholland (tenor).

The New Rechoirments create sweet a capella harmonies, fuelled by cake and copious cups of tea.

The Real Sing is a friendly and dynamic a cappella choir who celebrate 30 years of singing and performing together in 2025. We perform a wide range of music, including contemporary favourites and classic hits from the 70s and 80s, arranged in 4 to 8-part harmonies. The choir is known for its original arrangements, many of which are crafted by our talented musical director, Coralie Kan.

Vocal Mix is a mixed voice a cappella chorus which performs well known contemporary arrangements in the Barbershop and A Cappella styles, to create entertaining and engaging performances for the audience.

Under the direction of well known voice coach Bec Hewitt, Vocal Mix places a high value on quality singing and performance, and on helping all members to improve their singing.

Vocal Mix seeks to provide a strong supportive community for its members by building upon the barbershop concept of “fellowship”; the idea that we all share a common passion.

Our mission is to provide a welcoming, fun and high-quality a cappella singing experience. Everything we do is motivated by the love of music, fellowship and striving to achieve our personal best. Dedicated to the growth of members, we encourage collaboration, education and interaction with all singing communities and our audiences.

Our vision is to evolve into an artistic pillar of our community, creating experiences that foster fellowship, belonging and joy.

Voicemale recently celebrated their 20th anniversary with a 100 seat "Supra" Georgian banquet. The men’s community choir is based in Fremantle, Perth and is directed by the unflappable Digby Hill. He also arranges a large portion of their repertoire. Voicemale have a busy performance schedule which sees them appearing in multiple festivals, concerts and community events each year. Their appearances in regional towns from Merredin to Morawa are always a big hit. Digby’s unique arrangements have Voicemale singing a huge variety of world music in many languages with songs from every continent, along with well know pop songs from the Beatles to ACDC. As a community choir, Voicemale is a radiant exhibition of the power of community singing to get people together in a fun and inclusive way.  As Bernd says, "everything is tolerated".

We are a friendly group who like nothing better than to get together to sing our four part a cappella harmony. We sing contemporary songs from the 70s to modern day, including classic barbershop arrangements. We love sharing our singing with the wider community, at local events and festivals. Voiceworks is a SATB choir that has been based in Shenton Park since 2005.

Under the guidance of our fabulous Musical Director Jackson Harper Griggs and with our talented Accompanist Bridget Hutchinson, we stage new original shows every year using songs from a range of genres.

Voiceworks welcomes everyone. No previous experience is required, just an interest in singing learning and having fun.
