Voicemale celebrate their 20th anniversary this year. The men’s community choir is based in Fremantle, Perth and is directed by the unflappable Digby Hill. He also arranges a large portion of their repertoire. Voicemale have a busy performance schedule which sees them appearing in multiple festivals, concerts and community events each year. Their appearances in regional towns from Merredin to Morawa are always a big hit. Digby’s unique arrangements have Voicemale singing a huge variety of world music in many languages with songs from every continent, along with well know pop songs from the Beatles to ACDC. As a community choir, Voicemale is a radiant exhibition of the power of community singing to get people together in a fun and inclusive way.

Glyde-Ins

Glyde-Ins Community choir is celebrating its 20th year under the leadership of our esteem director, Digby Hill. Digby arranges our repertoire in four part harmonies and challenges us with songs in different languages and a variety of genres. Glyde-ins now gather at Sullivan Hall, White Gum Valley every Tuesday afternoon where our spirits are lifted with the joy of singing. We are happy to be part of this wonderful festival again. Glyde-Ins have participated at Fremantle, Busselton, Guildford Songfests this year & most recently at VoiceMoves Beverley Station Muster, our first time.

The Real Sing

TRS is a friendly bunch of a cappella singers with a repertoire of popular music spanning the 1950s through to current day. The choir performs many original arrangements of popular songs scored by our wonderfully talented musical director, Coralie Kan. in 2025 TRS will be having a year long celebration of 30 years as a community choir.

Radujsja

Radujsja (Rejoice!) is a 5-voice a cappella ensemble specialising in Eastern European folk music.  Over a decade, Radujsja has explored polyphonic singing, some of which pre-dates written records, from across the regions many cultures and landscapes.  They have gathered works that span across Georgia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Serbia.  Listeners will thrill to the dissonance and asymmetric rhythms, at first strange to the ear, of the fascinating vocal styles offered by this group.

Irish Choir of Perth

The Irish Choir Perth is a community choir that celebrates Irish song and culture. Our repertoire ranges from well loved, traditional songs to contemporary songs by Irish artists.

South African Gospel Choir

We are a multi – National community choir who sing African and English gospel songs ! Our Conductor is Sylva Bright from the Cameroons and our drummer is Stacey Smart from Rhythmn Fix Drumming group who is a local lass! You’re very welcome to join in our singing and dance moves !!

Men of the West

Men of the West celebrate their 20th anniversary this year!  Laugh, Weep, Sing, Clap, Dance… with the Men of the West as their singing can make you laugh out loud, move you to tears, delight your ears, make you clap along and start dancing. What more could you ask for?

She Shants

She Shants are slightly subversive, sometimes sweet and draw repertoire from traditional and original songs of waiting, loss, adventure and a fascination of sea creatures. We rarely sing sea shanties!

Close Harmony

We are Close Harmony, a community choir established in 2006. We deliver a haunting and harmonious four-part sound. Under the new Directorship of talented and vibrant Jordan Dunne, our A Capella repertoire is an eclectic mix of contemporary and classical, global and personal, romantic and intimate, spirited and upbeat, gospel to blues, country and international, the elegantly simple or whimsical, or the challenge of more demanding pieces. It’s a mixed choir: men and women, young and old, novice to experienced. We revel in the joy of singing, having fun within the friendship of others who share the love of music and harmony and the unbridled energy that music brings to us individually and collectively. We welcome new members who love to sing believing that everyone can add to our sound. Our atmosphere is warm and welcoming. New and old embrace a culture of joy through music. In that magic moment we can sing to a different beat.

Working Voices

Working Voices Choir sings the issues: First formed in 1989 as a union choir, it maintains links to the labour movement, singing at May Day rallies, Society for the Study of Labour History events, etc. Over the years, the choir has broadened its repertoire to include songs, rendered with passion, about social justice, refugees, the environment, climate change, and more. Working Voices Choir participates enthusiastically in music festivals.

Allegro Pop Choir

Allegro, meaning lively, is both our vision and our name. A weekly gathering of people who enjoy singing in harmony for fun, for the love of music and singing, for stress relief and to improve their voice and confidence. No audition required! We sing mostly pop genre, both a cappella and accompanied.

Serbian Choir Red Peonies

Greetings from Serbian Choir Red Peonies! We are an amateur, a cappella choir from Perth, WA. We have enjoyed singing music from Serbia and other parts of the world since 2016. We perform regularly at community events, such as the Choir Bash, Guildford SongFest and within the Serbian community. Our three conductors are all volunteers driven by their passion for musical expression. Each brings their individual musical background, skills and perspective. We want the members to get the most out of their time with us and offer opportunities such as solo parts, small group singing and playing instruments. While we work hard to prepare for each performance, we have a lot of fun, and make many great memories and new friends!

Psallite

Psallite (Sal-Li-Tay) is a four part a capella vocal group specialising* in music from the 12th century to the 21st century and beyond**. Our repertoire is drawn*** from English Street broadsides to tavern catches and lays, courtly madrigals of Europe and the magnificent and quite sacred**** music from several spiced ladies and a collection of their contemporaries*****. All presented with a unique twist and a codpiece full of humour (because we are indeed quite funny^ individuals). *well we think so. **we’re still writing stuff. ***loosely, if I may say. ****to some people we’re guessing. *****musicians who are now able to use, or were born holding, a mobile phone. ^ funny ha ha not funny strange.

Quorum

QUORUM Chamber Singers Quorum is a fourteen voice ensemble directed by Aishah Chadwick-Stumpf and Josh Adams. Madrigals and anthems from the sixteenth century to the present. A feature of our Dunsborough SongFest repertoire is two contrasting settings of Bogorodiste Devo by Gjeilo and Rachmaninov

Ebb Tide Men

The Ebb Tide Men Scan the vocal groups in Western Australia and you won’t see many four-part a cappella male quartets performing folk song. Time for The Ebb Tide Men, formed in 2022, and comprising Nick Eustance bass, Peter Ormond baritone, and tenors Lionel Pierson and Rey Rombawa.  From a varied repertoire grounded in Anglo-Celtic folk and embracing traditional song from Europe and beyond, with existing and new arrangements, we offer a strong, original and engaging small group sound.  

Vocal Mix

Vocal Mix is a mixed voice a cappella chorus which performs well known contemporary arrangements in the Barbershop and A Cappella styles, to create entertaining and engaging performances for the audience. Under the direction of well known voice coach Bec Hewitt, Vocal Mix places a high value on quality singing and performance, and on helping all members to improve their singing. Vocal Mix seeks to provide a strong supportive community for its members by building upon the barbershop concept of “fellowship”; the idea that we all share a common passion. Our mission is to provide a welcoming, fun and high-quality a cappella singing experience. Everything we do is motivated by the love of music, fellowship and striving to achieve our personal best. Dedicated to the growth of members, we encourage collaboration, education and interaction with all singing communities and our audiences. Our vision is to evolve into an artistic pillar of our community, creating experiences that foster fellowship, belonging and joy.

Made Vocally

Made Vocally is a quartet formed from within a choir (New Rechoirments), based on the premise that if some singing is good, more must be better! They love singing close harmonies and hope to share that joy with their audiences.

Kavisha Mazzella

ARIA award winner, songbird and folkloric explorer Kavisha’s original song’s lyrical ingredients include humour, poetry, social justice and the spiritual. Combine this prowess with the voice of an angel and you have the experience of a Kavisha concert. Singing in English, Italian and other languages, she will take you on an uplifting boundary riding journey of well-crafted stories and songs ringing with echoes of Celtic, Fado and Gypsy influences that will strike a resounding chord within. In 2011 she was awarded an Australia Day Honour for services to music and community.  In 2023 she was awarded a Lifetime Contribution Award by Folk Alliance Australia for championing diversity in the folk music scene.

We are International group and singing in different languages. Our songs are colourful and from around the world. Directed by Evgenia Moore.

Perth Gospel Choir

Perth Gospel Choir is a non-auditioned, non-religious community choir that welcomes everyone! Our repertoire spans from classical to gospel music, Christmas carols, contemporary hits and more. Elderberries

We are a vocal harmony ukulele group. We play at a variety of performance concerts, workshop events, community sing-along events, ukulele clubs and busking venues. We have a varied repertoire, presented with a dynamic and engaging energy. We encourage and enjoy audience participation as part of our performance.

Spirit of the Streets

The Spirit of the Streets Choir, originally called the Big Issue Choir, was formed in 2007 with the leadership of Bernard and Eleanor Carney. The Choir is a registered incorporated not-for-profit charity.
