Tea & Whisky is a musical meeting of the whimsical with the full-bodied, and of a lazy Sunday vibe with the intensity of a passionately-lived life. Alex Hey, AKA Alex-the-cellist, and Raelene Bruinsma, singer/songwriter/storyteller/vocal teacher and community choir director, join forces to bring you a feast of voice, cello, flute, occasional percussion, and several varieties of guitar, served up in varying combinations in the service of song. Our repertoire is a surprising mix of lively and soulful covers and originals, and our arrangements sparkle with hints of musical influences from a variety of musical genres. We combine playful fun with a professional tight delivery.
