Proclaimed by an anonymous (spooky) choir director to be the “fourth highest emotionally competent choir in the world”, Lowlands Beach Community Choir is a group of friends from the tiny South Coast region of Youngs Siding. When they are not growing organic vegetables, milking cows, building houses, designing websites, practicing Jungian psychology or having a good ol’ time at Lowlands Beach, this eclectic group loves to gather at sundown under the guidance of their glorious choir mistress Jude Iddison and sing their little hearts out. They sing a soulful and uplifting repertoire of original songs and classics including traditional, Noongar, Maori and African music, with arrangements by Jude and some of Australia’s leading choral arrangers.
