Kalamunda Sing commenced in May 2019 to promote quality accompanied community singing in the hills. It is a non-auditioned Choir that has a varied repertoire ranging from choral, musical theatre, jazz and contemporary. (Some of which you will hear today). Today the group has grown to 52 singers which is far cry from its inaugural 10 members. This year Kalamunda Sing participated in the North of Perth Music Festival and won first prize in the Open Choir section. Kalamunda Sing is also fortunate in having their very accomplished accompanist Nicholas Williams with the group and who was awarded his Doctorate in Music last year.
