Kalamunda Sing was established in May 2019 primarily to create a 4 part accompanied community choir. Not only was it about enjoyment through singing but also learning new music skills, and broadening an understanding of music through the learning of different musical genres. The Choir is non- auditioned, the only prerequisite being, a love of singing. This year Kalamunda Sing celebrated 5 glorious years of singing and fellowship. It has grown to forty members coming from all walks of life. The Choir has performed and supports community events such as, Carols by Candlelight, and Jazz in the park. It has supported the Kalamunda Swing Band, and performed at its own concerts annually. Participating at the Dunsborough Song Fest 2023 and this year at The Guildford Songfest, have been highlights for the group.
Kalamunda Sing is excited about performing at this year’s Dunsborough Songfest and presenting their interesting program of Song.
