Busselton Ukulele Group (BUG)
BUG has been playing together for seven years and has 20 members who practise together once a week. BUG plays a variety of genres to include rock, pop, jazz, folk and sometimes a little bit of classical, incorporating vocal harmonies, different strumming styles and finger picking to add interest.
The ukulele has become a very popular portable four stringed instrument and BUG members play soprano, concert, tenor and baritone ukes as well as a lead U-Bass to keep tempo. You might hear a cajon (drum), kazoo, tambourine, or even a harmonica during our performances!
BUG has performed at the Margaret River Strings Attached Guitar Festival, and play regularly for community events across the SW region
